I am a stay-at-home mom like many of you an was taken by surpirse to find out my sons were following far beyond in their second grade class this year. I didn't know what to do or who to talk to ( besides the teachers) so I decided to create this blog in hopes that I will help someone who is on the same long journey as me.
It first started out at the first conference with the teacher that my sons were a little behind in writing, reading and math skills so the teacher and I started doing extra with them and I even became involved in the classroom so I could see first hand what they were doing in the class. After the second conference there wasn't much improvement in their skills so we decided to have them evoluated for a learning disability.
